An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and dedicated Diagnostic Technician to join our busy service workshop in Gympie.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Test driving vehicles with customers experiencing driveability symptoms
- Providing expert advice in relation to the mechanical condition of vehicles
- Referring to manufacturer best practice in diagnostic principles
- Repairing vehicles such as engine, electrical wiring, transmission and suspension systems
- Providing guidance to apprentices and technicians
- Test driving and conducting assessments of vehicles prior to return back to the customer
- Performing a range of tests to diagnose and repair modern vehicles along with supporting other technicians and apprentices
To be successful in this role you must offer the following strengths:
- Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Honda &/or Isuzu UTE experience highly preferred
- Proven experience undertaking minor and major maintenance and diagnostic work to the highest quality standards
- Adhering to checklists and quality control standards
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary quality service
- Ability to mentor/provide guidance to junior technicians
- Keep up to date with mandatory factory training
- A current valid Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate
- Motivated, enthusiastic and customer service focused
- A current driver's licence
