You’ve been asking for it, and the wait is finally almost over. The 2023 GWM Ute cab chassis is bound for Australia within the coming months, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally offer this top-class Ute in a new range of configurations that will help more people tackle their biggest jobs.
Although they’re still going through final approval. GWM currently has submissions in place with the Australian government for certifications of a dual cab cab-chassis (which is what will likely hit showrooms first) as well as a single cab body Ute and single cab-chassis also under review.
Both will maintain the excellent 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine and eight-speed automatic transmission found in the current GWM Dual Cab Ute. And a choice of two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive variants are likely to be offered, however it’s yet to be announced whether both will be immediately available at the time of launch. All that aside, no matter which cab-chassis versions we see in the dealership first you can rest assured that GWM are working hard to make more versions for the GWM Ute available so that no matter what your needs are there is something to suit.
